Someone overindulged last night...
buddhistmippo found a good-sized tankard of mead...and demonstrated his lack of alcohol tolerance.
But to nobody's surprise, he's happy and dapper when drunk.
I love his blissful expression. If I had such a hat, such a watch, and such mead, I would have one too, though not nearly as plush!
The watch was borrowed from emily_jiang, so he doesn't really have it. The hatpin was stolen from my mother and its initials stand for Scottish Ladies' Golf Association. Emily suggested giving him a spare watch she had, which has Mao Zedong on the cover.
Eve suggests that "Chairman Mao and the Scottish Ladies' Golf Association" should be the title of a short story :D

They could be - for who knows the secret lives of bees, especially Lianne Hinton's bees? They could be brass and gold, each tiny gear shaped like a flower and etched with hidden names of apiary gods; or else they could be woven of pliant grass and painted with brushes made of starbeams.

Shweta! I'm doing okay, just been very very busy now I'm that I'm a junior (!) officially in the accounting program. As usual, I've been lacking brain after taking all business classes all the time. Even reading for pleasure is still a struggle.
On the bright side, I've been in a steady relationship for over 10 1/2 months now with a really sweet guy. :-)

That's hilarious. The mippo always makes me smile.
I think he gains merit through silliness as well as fuzziness.
