Short post cause I want writing time but!  

rose_lemberg 's story Kifli is out at Strange Horizons today!  I love this story so much.  I have loved it since its first draft, with an ache very close to heartbreak.  I can't describe it.  You'll have to read it.

And!  Late plug, but heartfelt: you should read kehrli 's story Daha's Son at Fantasy mag, if you haven't already.   Because, wow. 
I would have mentioned earlier, but I wasn't well enough to read it, and I didn't want to point it out till I could say in all honesty that zomg you should read it.

I am so damn lucky in my friends, who draw such true and painful beauty from their fingers, as well as being generous and caring people.
