obligatory publications post

Last year, one of the things that fell by the wayside was updating my bibliography. So coming up with this list was exciting! And if I have left anything off, I must have forgotten to put it on duotrope too.

Anyway, list. It's not long. 2011 was a surviving year, not a writing year.

The Padishah Begum's Reflections, Steam Powered: Lesbian Steampunk Stories (ed. JoSelle Vanderhooft), January 2011
(There's an ebook! Though reviewers have said my story suffers from the ebook form cause it's too damn complicated. Annnd they're right. ETAsounds like the ebook has major formatting issues, though, see first comment, I'm too splat to link.)

short story

A Fairy Tale Princess, Scheherezade's Bequest #13, May 2011
The River's Children, Expanded Horizons #33, December 2011

Tonight I Know, Strange Horizons, April 2011
She Lives, The Cascadia Subduction Zone, Volume 1 #2, April 2011
Homebound, Strange Horizons, July 2011
Three Lessons, The Cascadia Subduction Zone, Volume 1 #3, July 2011
Self-portrait, Fantastique Unfettered #4, December 2011

Anyone who's thinking of nominating, I'll send you files of anything that isn't available online, spoons allowing :)

Mostly, I think that's relevant for the novelette. I'll send poetry too if you want, but I'll say straight-out that given their failure to address racism, homophobia, ableism, and other forms of gleeful bigotry in their official publication, I am deeply skeptical about the worth of the SFPA (and thus the Rhysling & Dwarf Star Awards) at this point.
